When your event is approved by one of our pastors, we will reach out to you for any additional space requirements you may need. For example: tables, chairs; equipment needs such as projector, tv, mic, speaker.

Facilities Rental Policies


  1. Application request must be approved and applicable rates and fees paid in order to use the facilities. You will receive confirmation via your preferred method of communication.

  2. ALL THE JOURNEY FACILITIES ARE SMOKE-FREE BUILDINGS, including but not limited to tobacco and vaping products.

  3. ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOL, MARIJUANA, OR ILLEGAL DRUGS ARE ALLOWED in the buildings or on The Journey property. Any evidence of these found on the premises will disqualify any renter and user future use of our facilities.

  4. No telephones are accessible on The Journey properties.

  5. All Renters will conduct their functions to permit the closing of the facility by 10 pm Monday to Sunday. With approval by the Pastor of The Journey, these times may be extended.

  6. Any damage to the facility will be determined by the Pastor or Church Facilities Director of The Journey. A damage deposit is required and will be returned to renter if facilities are left in satisfactory condition as determined by the above mentioned.

  7. Indemnification: It is an express term of this agreement that the Renter indemnifies The Journey for any costs or damages of any kind incurred by The Journey Facilities, as a result of the rental of the facilities by the Renter.

  8. Sound System and Media Equipment: If renter requires the use of, can only be operated by a qualified staff member. The Pastor will make arrangements with a qualified staff member to contact you.

  9. All bookings must be approved by the Lead Pastor of The Journey.

  10. All fees for rental of facilities and equipment is to be paid with this form or given to the Pastor. Checks are to be made payable to: The Journey East Peoria

  11. Cancellation: A full refund will be given if a cancellation notice is received by the Pastor of The Journey 1 week prior to the event. Anything less than 1 week’s notice will result in one-half forfeiture of the total rental charge. Damage deposit will also be refunded.

Facilities Rental Agreement

The Undersigned, for and on behalf of the person or group named above, does hereby apply for the use of The Journey Facility(s) for the above stated purpose, on the stated date(s) at the stated time(s). The undersigned acknowledges that he or she has been provided with a copy of the Facilities Policies pertaining to the use of the Facility and certifies that he, she, or the group on whose behalf this application is filed will observe and adhere to all such policies.
